THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking Ramp Agents to work within Teesside Airport. The company you will be working for is going through a strong period of growth and you will form part of a growing team to provide runway support services. This role is an all-encompassing role with a wide variation of duties. The position is also permanent from day one.

THE ROLE

Maintaining applicable safety and performance standards.

Developing and building good relations with customers and Airport authorities.

Reporting irregularities and take appropriate action.

Auditing fuel ticket information for accuracy.

Preparing flight paperwork for crew including printing of flight plans, weather reports, passenger lists etc.

Communicating aircraft fuel and load data between flight crew and load control departments.

Prioritising tasks and managing the turnaround of an aircraft from arrival to departure.

Operating a variety computer systems and handheld devices.

Dealing with aircraft weight and balance calculations as required.

Reporting all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager.

Complying with all UK/Ireland/EU legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements.

Complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

Providing general administrative support to the Ground Handling Team and business.

Providing holiday/absence cover for colleagues within the team when necessary.

Flexibility with shifts to cover business critical needs.

You must hold a degree of fitness as this role incorporates baggage lifting

Driving license would also be beneficial
