Business Development Manager

£35,000 Basic Salary + Commission (& Car, Fuel, Phone etc.)
Uncapped OTE - upwards of £60K
Field Based Monday to Friday role
Fantastic opportunity with a market leading automotive companyOur client, a market leading automotive services provider, is looking for a driven, ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help them expand their dealer base across the UK.

My client is flexible on candidate's location, as the role is UK wide, and a lot of the role will be working from home or out on the road. But you will need to travel to Cheshire periodically, so the successful candidate will most likely be based in Cheshire or the Midlands.
Our client is looking for experienced B2B sales people within the Automotive industry, as they will have the required experience, skills and training to succeed in this role.

Ideally Business Development Managers with have experience selling automotive products (Warranties, Finance, Service Plans, Maintenance Products etc.)
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

Develop a growth strategy to maximise sales
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Identify secure and nurture new partnerships.
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.You will be representing a market leading brand, who are long established and have won multiple awards. As such, this will be a relatively easy sell due to their reputation and highly competitive rates.

Experience & Skills Required of the Business Development Manager:

Have a focused attitude, self-motivated and highly organised
Previous field sales and client facing experience is essential, with a proven sales track record, particularly with new business
Excellent relationship building skills
Have a trustworthy and compassionate nature
A flexible approach to their working day 
Stable career history
Proficiency in MS Office
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport
Time & Territory management and planning skillsFull training will be given and support provided.
