£25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are searching for a Trainee / Assistant Management Accountant to work alongside a Finance Business Partner at a national facilities management company in Leeds.

The Assistant Management Accountant is responsible for assisting in the delivery of meaningful, accurate and timely monthly management accounts for multiple sites across the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for providing clear commentary and variance analysis whilst identifying underlying performance and any risks & opportunities.

The position requires excellent communication and presentation skills, working closely with non-finance experts and assisting them to demonstrate value for money through delivering efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will be:

Degree Educated (or equivalent) ideally in Accountancy or Finance and working towards ACCA or CIMA
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
A good communicator with the ability to engage with non-finance stakeholders and relay information in an understandable manner.
