Teaching Assistant – Coventry

* Must be able to work 8:30am – 3:30pm

Milestone Education are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis in mainstream primary schools in Coventry (CV2, CV6, CV3). As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Provide support to the class teacher in maintaining excellent classroom and behaviour management.

* Support pupils on a 11 basis with additional needs

* Help organise lesson resources and contribute to creating an engaging learning environment.

* Work closely with colleagues to maintain excellent standards of education

* Duty of care to all pupils to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all pupils is monitored and reported at all time

* Be actively involved in promoting the school’s values

Essential Requirements:

* Qualification in any of the following areas:

* Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools

* Higher Level Teaching Assistant

* Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in schools

* Health and Social Care

* Youth Work

* BA/MA Psychology

* UK Experience working either in schools, academic settings with children, care sector demonstrating supporting children

* Enhanced DBS on the update service (we can provide an application)

* Knowledge of the National Curriculum

* Right to work in the UK full-time
