Our client is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (mechanical maintenance or construction c 5 years relevant industry experience).

Location: Rainham Essex

Requirement to travel across the UK and N Ireland

Salary: £52,000.00 per annum

Hours: 8.15am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

The Area Sales Manager role reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager based in Sweden. The role involves marketing and sales of the company’s products within the UK and N Ireland. Travel required for training and work.

Area Sales Manager skills and experience and duties:

* Ongoing planning of prospects and customer meetings with participation in relevant marketing events such as, webinars, trade fairs and seminars

* Establish relationships with local partners where necessary to bring the company's vehicles to the market

* Be up to date on customers, competitors and the market in allocated regions (market information)

* Continuously communicate, document and report market information

* Register and update new project and market information into the company's systems such as ERP, CRM etc;

* Liaise with prospective customers to develop technical specifications

* Establish, register and continuously follow up on calculations, quotations or other documents needed to send an approved quote to customers

* Continuous follow up, develop documentation of market information together with the company's service agents in cases where we have agents in the region

* Be up to date with and follow relevant corporate practices

* Actively contribute to the department's long-term efficiency and development through, for example, the work of its own department's meetings and conferences

* Participate in and actively contribute to discussions on educational and development activities
