As the Compliance Team Leader you will work as part of the team responsible for the management and ongoing maintenance of our social and affordable housing. You will play a proactive part in ensuring the company adheres to legal standards, regulatory requirements and in-house policies including, but not limited to gas, oil, solid fuel, renewable heating and electrical compliance. You will also be responsible for embedding appropriate controls and providing assurance.
Within the role, you will manage a compliance team, produce and report on programs, monitor compliance related remedial works, budgets and external contractors. This is a data-driven opportunity as you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring appropriate controls for managing asset and component changes, ensuring that through regular data reconciliations, exceptions are invested and communicated with all stakeholders.
This is a permanent, full-time role and is subject to a basic DBS check.
You will need:
Proven experience of managing compliance related activity
Knowledge & experience of heating programmes is essential, technical qualifications are desirable
Experience of working within a quality assurance and performance management environment
Experience of managing people, budgets and external contractors
Detail orientated with good organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Efficient using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Flexible working attitude
