We are currently working with a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) located in Luton who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated English Cover Teacher to start as soon as possible.
The role would be to work 3 days a week (Monday,Thursday & Friday) to cover English
within the school and support the students on a 1:1/small group basis with their academic studies.
The ideal candidate should have experience of teaching English.
This is a part time role available to start immediately!

Managing challenging behaviour
Working with pupils who are hyperactive and eager to learn
Developing interesting lesson plans that will aid pupils & learning development
Delivering enthusiastic and engaging lessons to encourage learning in pupils
Tracking the progress of pupils and reviewing lesson plans to accommodate for anysuccesses or weaknesses
Develop and maintain pupils self-esteem and success
Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils
Working with small groups and 1:1Requirements:
Experience of the primary and secondary curriculum
Experience of working with challenging behaviour and SEN
Good behaviour management
Experience of leading a whole class
Being a resilient and hard-working individual
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to make one
Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
