Role: SEMH Maths Teacher

Salary: £28,000 - £37,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Leader Education are working in partnership with an independent SEMH school based in Doncaster. We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Maths Teacher to teach up to KS4 level in a small classroom setting. The pupils that attend this school have been diagnosed with a variety of conditions including ADHD, ODD, dyslexia, and SEMH needs. The pupils are aged between 14 - 16 and are a mix of both boys and girls.

Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher with experience of working with children and young adults with SEMH. They are looking for someone passionate and able to take this role in their stride, to deliver creative lessons where young pupils are engaged. The pupils in this school have already missed a large part of their education so it is vital that you are committed and passionate to the role and pupils. Must have a QTS and experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH school or similar setting.

Essential skills:

QTS
Specialism in Maths would be beneficial.
Experienced working with pupils EHCP's
Be engaging and fun.
Dynamic and resilient
Be passionate and committed to inclusive learning.
Be patient and understanding,
Be able to motivate and inspire.
Have a genuine passion for SEND and /or SEMH.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have a therapeutic and holistic approach.
Be diverse with your lessons and be able to reach learners at varying levels and abilities.The Job:
