Main Responsibilities

The main purpose of the role is to transport Finished Goods from our Elton Warehouse to External Storage Facilities. Depending on Business needs, the successful candidate maybe required to deliver direct to customer or collect Raw Materials for glass production.

Key Accountabilities:

Collect Finished Goods from our Elton Warehouse and deliver to a specified warehouse
Take vehicles / trailers when required for inspections
Support business needs as required
Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with Encirc Health & Safety regulations
To ensure the workplace is kept clean at all times and defects reported

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a HGV driver transporting glass products on curtainsider trailers
Previous experience as a HGV driver transporting powder products on tankers and tipping trailers for sand is an advantage but not essential.
Up to Date Drivers CPC
Valid Driver Card
Clean HGV Licence with CE entitlement
Must be able to cope in a highly pressurised environment
Hard working, punctual and a positive attitude
Must be adaptable as overtime and work schedule could be changed or required at the last minute to meet customer needs​About the Company
