Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse

Opportunity available for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within a PICU, Based in Oxford

The team sits within the Meadow Unit PICU (CAMHS) at Warneford Hospital with the role predominately delivering direct nursing care to the young people including developing and following care plans and risk assessments. You will be providing administration of medication and also liaising with families and carers. As part of this tole you will need skills in management of acute situations and de-escalation techniques experience and understanding of positive behavior support would be an advantage. You will be providing a safe and supportive environment whilst young people are in the most acute and vulnerable stage of their illness and provide a safe and nurturing environment which includes provision of recreational facilities and access to education.

This role is full time working 37.5 hours week with the shifts being a mix of earlies, Lates & Nights over 5 days. An option of working 4 long days is also available. No working from home is available.

Hourly rate for this role is:

Monday to Friday: £26.00 Per Hour
Saturday: £29.00 Per Hour
Sunday / Bank Holidays: £32.00 Per Hour
