Refresco UK, the world's largest independent soft drinks manufacturer, seeks a Programme Manager, working out of our Kegworth Head Office on the Derbyshire / Leicestershire border. The role requires a high level of travelling to our different sites, so you could be based anywhere in the UK. This is a pivotal role in project managing multiple, mult-million £ projects simultaneously across the 6 sites of Refresco UK. This is an outstanding, challenging , career opportunity for a qualified, experienced, programme or project manager with ideally FMCG, fast paced manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry sector exposure.

About the Role:
As Programme Manager you will report to the Refresco UK Head of Strategic Projects, your key internal stakeholders are the Refresco UK senior leadership team, the Site General Managers and Site Engineering Project Managers. You will need to deal with multiple external OEM / Contractors too. You will need to visit the different sites regularly, although how often and where will also be driven by the location of various projects. You will need to adhere rigorously to a 'Stage and Gate' project management process and framework and ensure all those involved in any project do so too.
You will already be an expert in project / programme management, and so will be familiar with the requirements of the role, but in the interests of transparency here are some of your key areas of focus:
Managing and co-ordinating multiple high-value engineering projects across the Refresco UK sites - typically 3 projects at any one time, up to the value of £35m.
Managing and owning the project management process for all major projects - organising steering meetings, facilitating the meetings, pulling together the agendas, pulling presentations together, communicating minutes and action points, chasing up action points and communicating future meetings and essentially progress of projects to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage all project documentation and the project risk register.
Maintain and communicate a visual project 'dashboard' summarising project status.
Working with the Head of Stragic Projects and the Senior Engineering Projects Manager, contributing to project design and approval (including tendering process, negotiation, commissioning process).
Review, develop, improve the Refresco UK project management process so that we achieve a consistent 'stage and gate' project management process and approach across all sites and all future projects About You:
As Programme Manager you will need to be highly organised, disciplined, rigorously process driven with outstanding attention to detail, and adept at managing and influencing others to adhere to project management process. You will need to be an excellent communicator and influencer, and highly collaborative, as a critical part of the role is to engage with and pull together disparate cross functional teams operating at various levels of seniority across the Refresco UK business. An element of communication which you will need to be outstanding at is the ability to simplify and articulate complex matters so that they can be understaiood and digested easily, to enable business decision / next steps to be taken. You will need to be have outstanding presentation skills and advanced MS Office ability in particular Powerpoint.
You will ideally have multiple project or programme management experience within FMCG, other fast moving manufacturing or Pharmaceuitcal industry sectors.
You will need to be able to travel regulary, likely on a weekly basis, to all Refresco UK sites. The salary for this role is dependent on experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week, and we have free, onsite parking.
