Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a reputable and well established business in Chesterfield as they look to recruit a Finance Manager to work alongside the Financial Controller. This is a key hire for the business and will also have the responsibility of managing 5 members of staff in finance as well as looking after some of the more technical accounting aspects for the group.

Following a successful year, this business has a current turnover of over £43 Million and delivering £20 Million operating profits across a broad group. The have had recent investments in IT as well as a new ERP system, they have made some key Board appointments and have international growth plans.

Duties & Responsibilities will include: -

* Working as a member of the Senior Management Team
* Leading a team of 5 people
* Production of accurate accounts for review
* Completing any relevant and analysis and reporting
* Managing financial accounting processes
* Meeting month end, quarter end and year end deadlines
* Overseeing a high volume of day-to-day financial transactions
* Coaching and mentoring the finance team
* Dealing with internal audits
* Point of contact for external auditors
* Supporting the Financial Controller in terms of projects within the department
* Continuous improvement of systems and processes

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences:-

* ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA Qualified
* Staff management experience
* Good technical accounting skills
* Good analytical skills
* Self-motivated and able to motivate others
* Ability to challenge and provide solutions
* Excellent communication skills & the ability to build strong relationships
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Experience of effectively managing transactional operations within Finance

They operate a 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with an hour for lunch
