Class 1 HIAB Driver – Monday to Friday - Days

WB Power Services are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers to work the day shift out of our depot. This is a superb opportunity for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Class 1 HGV Driver to support the team through these exciting times.

Shift requirement Monday to Friday days.

The Role
• Traveling to client sites located within a regional patch.
• Using a HIAB to lift company generations onto a site.
• Delivering and collecting company equipment as required.
• Maintain driver hours and tachograph are observed & proper records are kept.
• Complete checks on the company trucks and trailers.
• General collections from suppliers when necessary.
• Ensure the load is correctly secured using restraints.
• Operating vehicles within speed limits.
• Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.

The Person
• Having a HIAB experience or lifting experience is essential.
• In-date Class 1 licence.
• ADR would be advantageous but not essential as we will put you through training.
• Willing to work in a permanent role.
• You must have a valid in-date driver qualification card along with in date driver CPC.
• Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
• The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
