Anti-Social Behaviour Officer

Salary £31,500 + Essential Car User Allowance

Location: Manchester, Salford - Agile Working

Permanent, Full Time, Monday - Friday

Hours: 35 hours per week (agile working arrangement in place)

Our customer corporate objective is, to help customers to achieve and maintain a successful tenancy by providing a home that’s right for them and offer tailored support when and where needed. To do this we will; Create a place based tailored service that provides clarity of responsibility for both colleague and customer, where we do what we say and have a clear focus on outcomes.

Working closely with the Tenancy Management team and other key agencies you’ll ensure all reports of ASB are swiftly and effectively managed and lead on managing all ASB cases that require any formal action.

In this role, you will be responsible for

Take responsibility for the co-ordination, control and organisation of an effective and efficient response to anti-social behaviour.

Investigate and manage serious anti-social behaviour, harassment and domestic abuse cases liaising with Community Co-ordinators, the Police, any relevant agencies in order to gather information which will assist in agreeing and implementing a course of action which will result in the cessation of the nuisance.

Develop and implement a preventative and diversionary approach which minimises the number and severity of ASB cases.

Provide supervision support to the Community Co-ordinators.

Take lead on partnerships with other agencies.

We need people who:

*

Are IT literate including Microsoft Office 365

*

Have an understanding of social Housing legislation

*

Are experienced in dealing with ASB at a complex level, or are working in a similar role dealing with ASB, tenancy & neighbourhood issues

As well as a flexible approach to working hours, you’ll need access to personal vehicle for work purposes and valid Driving Licence.
