My client in Aberdeen Scotland is currently in need of a Electronics Technician due to expansion

This role is for an Electronic Technician to work as part of our Electronics Workshop team. You will be involved in the assembly, test, and repair of a broad range of electronics required for the development of downhole electronic tools.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

* • Electronic knowledge down to component level

* • Able to understand electronic schematics for PCBs

* • Experience of repairing or assembling PCBs

* • Able to debug circuits at resistor, capacitor, transistor and IC level

* • Good verbal and written communication skills

* • Proficiency with standard computer applications

Qualified to HNC level, or above The following would be advantageous:

* • Repair and test of analogue and digital electronics

* • Experience with high temperature electronics

* • Experience in the oil and gas sector

* • Basic software/programming skills

The salary for this role is paying from £28k-£35k per annum as this is depending on experience
