03212 Grounds Movement (Subsidence) Claims Handler Tonbridge Kent Salary up to £28,000
Tonbridge office based, full time role. We are looking for someone with subsidence experience. Day to day: Dealing with new Subsidence Claims and existing claims. The candidate will be responding to portal messages from the policyholder. They will communicate with the policyholder to obtain images of the damage, where they will need to identify Subsidence by looking at images of the property to identify any damage i.e. cracking. Once a survey has been completed on the property, the report will be sent across to our Subsidence department where they will determine if there is a claim. If there is valid a claim, the Subsidence department will liaise with Councils (if it’s a tree causing the subsidence and needs to be removed.), If Subsidence damage relating to a drain, then a Drain Surveyor would need to be sent out to further access.
The candidate will need to be able to read and understand Surveyor reports from Drain company’s, Tree reports, they will also need to deal with the recoveries of the claim by chasing ABI insurer.
Ideally –Experience in an insurance Subsidence Claims Handling role, OR Minimum – 2 years’ experience in another Technical Claims Handling role (Escape of Water would be sufficient). OR Loss Adjuster with actual expertise of handling Subsidence claims – demonstrated via CV and references OR Structural Engineer with relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience. Job titles - Subsidence Claims Handler, Grounds Movement Claims Handler, Landslip Claims Handler. Salary up to £28,000
