An exciting new opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join a major infrastructure company based in Birmingham with a salary up to £45,350 with an additional 15% flex fund. The Procurement Manager works within a smaller procurement sub-team that is responsible for the delivery activities of specific procurement packages worth between £10m and £1bn, within the context of the public sector environment. There are fantastic development opportunities into a Senior Procurement Manager position and beyond over the next few years.

Candidates will have previous experience within purchasing and procurement, at Category Manager or Procurement Manager level, and be keen to develop themselves in their career.

Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:

Responsible for the delivery of operational procurement for the relevant packages and supporting for the delivery of the overall procurement.
Ensuring all procurement activity is compliant with the relevant EU and UK legislation.
Supporting the achievement of governance approval and assurance of all procurement deliverables.
Building value within the supply chain by building strong and sustainable commercial relationships with stakeholders. Person Specification of the Procurement Manager:

Strong understandingof public procurement regulations, such as
Experience of procuring large value complex projects, such as heavy civils, construction or similar works/services.
Ability to interpret and compile contractual documents.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - both written and verbal.Salary:

Up to £45,350 + additional 15% flex fund
