Hunter Mason Consulting is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Experienced Landscape Planner / Architect on behalf of a leading landscape architectural practice with offices in Leeds and Manchester. The Role
Senior Landscape Planner with experience in landscape/ townscape and a visual assessment to join their Manchester or Leeds studio to provide landscape planning advice and support on various projects throughout the UK. Their current portfolio ranges from some of the largest energy and infrastructure projects in the UK down to small-scale housing projects and recreational developments in protected rural landscapes.
This role is suitable for ambitious landscape planners with energy and enthusiasm and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A larger focus on the planning, rather than design is a key requirement for this role.

Requirements

A university degree in either landscape architecture or a related discipline such as geography
*
At least 3-years of professional experience in landscape planning
*
A comprehensive understanding of GLVIA3
*
Expertise in delivering LVIA, LCA and EIA for a range of projects from small to large scale and complex schemes including report writing and preparation of figures, including drafting and/ or reviewing EIA Report chapters and appendices.
*
Excellent analytical and written English
*
Organisational, presentation and communication skills
*
Experience in stakeholder and public consultation
*
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
*
A valid driving license.
*
A larger focus on the planning, rather than design is a key requirement for this role.
