Functional Safety Engineer

Have you ever wished your customers would take your advice more often?

This role is focussing on delivery of Electric Powertrains across all vehicle platforms.

It offers that extra little challenge as the requirements are derived through analysis, and a typical customer is relying on you and your colleagues to advise them on the solution - they know what vehicle it is going in, but they don't have the expertise in electric powertrain systems engineering.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of safety engineering for electric powertrains and a good grounding in electronics hardware engineering, however, we don't expect we will meet this person.

With that in mind, a background of Functional Safety engineering within Powertrain (Conventional, Hybrid or Electric) or any other high ASIL rated product group will be considered
