The School and Role

Our school is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a classroom of children with a variety of complex needs, located in Salford. As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will be required to aid with the day-to-day lessons and activities alongside the teacher, to ensure pupils are well supported through targeted assistance. The SEN Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.

Requirements

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

An enthusiasm for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
Be committed to personal learning and development.
Bepatient, empathetic individual who can work on your own initiative.
Experience of supporting pupils with Behavioural issues on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
