Gilmartins has moved to the Woodside Estate in Houghton Regis (Houghton Hall Park) to a modern, well equipped office with great facilities.

The Role

We are looking to recruit an Engineer Scheduler (scheduling trades people) to work at our Head Office in Houghton Regis (LU5 5YG).

Full-time office-based position, hours of work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday in 4.

Main Responsibilities:

* Running daily schedules for team of 5-6 trade Operatives (electricians, plumbers, etc)

* Continually liaising with trade Operatives, tenants and clients (local authority or housing association) by phone, email and live chat regarding updates on repairs

* Logging multiple engineer work requests onto the in-house job management system and tracking each request through to completion

Essential Skills / Experience for this role:

* Excellent communication and listening skills

* Ability to multi-task to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent resource planning and administration skills

* The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role scheduling routes and issuing jobs to engineers

This is a permanent full-time position based in our office (not remote working).
