A rare opportunity to join an independent design consultancy based in St Albans, to the north of London, as a Building Physicist

You will be involved in all aspects of the Building Physicist role including level 5 DSM energy assessment, thermal modelling and Part L calculations all of which using IES software.

Being a St Albans company they'll need you to have knowledge of the London Plan as well as be comfortable with TM54, daylight modelling and natural ventilation.

As you can see from the above, this isn't an entry level post and you'll need to have been working as a Building Physicist for several years - it's perfect if you are looking for scope to spread your wings.

Ideally you will be a Low Carbon Consultant and registered SAP Assessor but it's not essential, and if you are keen to become one, there is the support there for you to do it.

The salary range for the post goes up to £55k with the possibility of extending beyond that if you are able to bring clients with you, or have scope to be able to develop the business.

They are offering the usual insurances, 25 days holiday plus pension scheme while the post is hybrid working with you being in the office three to four days out of five a week.
