Crawley

Our client, a manufacturing business based in Crawley, is looking for Assembly Technicians (Surface Mount Operatives) of various levels to join their team. They are open to candidates of all levels, from graduate to experienced, and are happy to provide training. There are currently early and late shifts available.

Assembly Technician
The Assembly Technician will have the following responsibilities:
Job Description

Being focused on the operation of the PCB Assembly surface mount line.
Operating and maintaining the surface mount line in conjunction with the development team to fault find and propose enhancements to production items or processes.
Identifying components (i.e., parts/packages, tapes and reels, sticks/tubes, waffle trays and loose components, etc).
Being responsible for barcode printing and scanning.
Setting up profiles.
Reading and understanding engineering drawings and documentation.
Using the computer system to perform ad hoc duties as required.Assembly Technician

Good knowledge of electronic manufacturing systems and production processes.
Relevant HND/HNC.Assembly Technician

Code recognition.
ESD awareness
Label content awareness.
Understanding of Reflow process.
Joint evaluation awareness
