The school and role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant 11 – 18 Secondary Academy for a Teacher of English, covering both Language and Literature within the area of Rotherham, the desired candidate will be responsible for the full teaching role which will require planning and preparing memorable lessons ensuring progress and engagement, through to marking and assessment duties and Parents’ evenings as and when required this may be negotiable.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of English Teacher you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS/Be working towards QTLS achievement. 
Have experience teaching in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE level.
An ability to work as part of a team.
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
