Westwood Recruitment are currently on the lookout for 1x NDT Technician to join our client on a permanent basis to start ASAP. The role is permanent based on 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on days.

The Roles & Duties include:

·NDE inspection using techniques & methods of NDE which are approved to defined standards whilst ensuring any materials are inspected and released with no NCR’s.

·To assist in training personnel / trainees with the technical manager

·To manage NDE consumables and calibrated equipment

·3rd Party witness involvement

·Performing in-house and on-site NDT techniques as required by customers within the production route at all stages

·Report writing

The Ideal Candidate

·Will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings

·Ability to read and understand NDT specifications and procedures

·Be able to work to tight deadlines

·Has good communication & decision-making skills

·Will be experienced & able to work alone without supervision

Job Requirements

·Be ASTN and/or PCN Level 2 Qualified

·Magnetic Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT) level 2's as a minimum, also having Ultrasonic Testing (UT) level 2 is preferred
