Good Afternoon we have a new exciting opportunity to join North Wales Police as a Quality Assurance Assessor. This is a temporary contract until end of March 2024.

You will be working Monday to Friday - hybrid working and you will work at St Asaph when working in the office.

The role is responsible for ensuring outcome compliance in line with HOCR.

To provide targeted auditing to support line managers and drive performance improvement in Outcome Compliance.

To proactively interrogate RMS to ensure accuracy, integrity and compliance on targeted Outcomes in line with HOCR and other NPCC guidance.
To identify and address areas of concern in relation to Outcome compliance and provide feedback on results.
To monitor, record and report on areas of concern and liaise with Supervisors, Managers and the FCIR so that the reviewed data can be included in audit reports.
To assist with Data Quality issues as directed by the FCIR.
To ensure discretion, sensitivity and confidentiality is applied at all times in accordance with force policies and procedures.
Promote and comply with North Wales Police policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others.
Any other duties as directed by a Supervisory Officer commensurate with the post and salary grading.

MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE:

The role requires applicants who can demonstrate (with evidence) skills in the following areas:

NVQ level 3 or equivalent relevant level of qualification, in an Administration related subject, or an equivalent amount of relevant proven experience.
A proven ability of attention to detail.
Ability to work at an intermediate level in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and organisational skills commensurate with the requirements of the post. The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
The role is one that requires an individual who can work on their own initiative, is highly motivated and can work as part of a team.

Desirable

A good working knowledge of North Wales Police business areas and processes would be desirable.
Fully conversant with HOCR rules including NCRS and NSIR.
Proven experience of using the RMS application and ICAD.
