Are you looking for a new role within a highly successful, forward thinking yet relaxed company?! If so, our wonderful client based in Borehamwood is looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join their team within the Insurance sector.

You will have sound IT Skills, particularly MS Office products, be passionate about customer service and building strong working relationships as you will be managing and enhancing those existing and new client relationships. Ideally a background in Commercial Insurance would also be beneficial.

Your duties:
. Processing mid-term adjustments
. Pre-renewal visits and securing the best terms available
. Acting on opportunities to promote additional cover benefits
. Actively developing cross selling opportunities within various departments
. Ensuring all documentation is issued and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and FCA regulations
. Assisting with preperation of external events and exhibitions, and attending where required
. Acting in accordance with the agreed procedures and protocols under Delegated Authority Schemes

Your background:

. Experience in a commercial Insurance environment along with knowledge of Professional Indemnity Insurance would be advantageous. General SME will also be considered.
. A proven sales focused approach to client relationships whilst ensuring excellent customer service and advice is always provided.
. Cert CII or significant progress towards the qualification would be advantageous
. A good level of written and spoken English is required, as well as numerical skills
. Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-moving environment
. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage own workload
