My client has a 12 month FTC For an On Site IT Support role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Be the first point of contact when a staff member is having difficulties in using their PC and/or an information system that they may be using.

* Be the 'face' of the IDT service desk and will need to project a positive, client focused image whilst resolving incidents in a timely and efficient manner.

* Have a broad understanding of the information systems and applications that are used in our organization and must have a good level of communication skills and an analytical mind in order to determine the user's issue and the cause of the incident.

* Be able to diagnose the incident and identify whether it is something you can resolve immediately or whether the incident needs to be referred to a specialist/architect in the IDT department for further analysis and resolution.

Experience/Qualifications:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in IDT Service delivery

* In depth experience in supporting/maintaining the IT end-user workplaces (1st analysis of user problems)

* Knowledge in the (Object) administration of Windows Active Directory environment (Knowledge of Objects, GPO, OU,DC,)

* Management and installation of end user hardware (PC, laptop, printers, mobile devices)

* Good knowledge in the administration of Windows 7 and/or Windows 10

* Good knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, O365

* Good Knowledge of MS operation system for servers (MS 2012, MS W2019, ... )

* Good knowledge of LAN management and topology

* Excellent team player

* Enthusiastic and positive mind set with an “Can Do” mentality

* Excellent communication skills

* Driver’s licence essential as travel to other sites may be required

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

£35,000.00 per year
