Our global pharmaceutical client based in Shoreditch, London is recruiting a Specialist Supply Chain Management Assistant to join their busy team. The role is a full-time temporary contract initially signed off for 6 months with a possible extension. Our client offers a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be required to work onsite for a minimum of 2 days per week. The working hours are 9am – 5pm (30 min break) Monday – Friday and the role offers an hourly rate of up to £16 per hour depending on experience.
Reporting to the Associate Director Supply Chain Management UKENI Cluster, the Specialist Supply Chain Management is responsible to monitor and ensure continuous and timely supply into internal and external customers.
The Specialist Supply Chain Management maintains and builds relationships with the 3PL, assigned customers, with the relevant supply sites and other stakeholders Demand Fulfilment coordinators, Launch coordinators, Global Logistics, Finance and Quality.
They act as the primary contact for the 3PL; manages their inventory and deliveries and supports new product introduction. This is all done with the objective of reaching maximum customer satisfaction, at consummate cost, ensuring optimal supply chain performance in compliance with established guidelines and procedures.
The role will also work with KPI’s regarding 3PL performance and participates in regular operational 3PL review meetings. The role will also work with government agencies (customs or any other relevant government party) concerning importation of goods.
Responsibilities
Primary activities include but not limited to:
Orders:
* Rag report to Ashfield
* UK supply risks to Alliance and Customer Services
* Debits/Credits & Return process
* Sample orders
* Gibraltar orders
* Customer Order Block Resolutions
* LASD Management
Supply:
* Identifying and resolving (potential) supply issues
* Working with 3PL to complete the TLRA for the Summer & Winter
* Complete CFSP Import Instructions for all Inbounds sent via K&N
* Trade Compliance (CoO, Value for Customs Purposes etc.)
* Following up and ensuring timely deliveries
Inventory:
* Monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimization of operations and to avoid stock out or write off
* Taking pro-active actions to avoid Inventory of Questionable Value (IQV) and discards
* As a part of the Archer controls process where applicable perform an inventory reconciliation between the 3PL inventory and the inventory balance in the ERP system to ensure the accurate inventory balance per batch
* Ensure that inventory at 3PL is handled in accordance with GDP and corporate quality standards
* Physical inventory count as outlined in FPOL7
Delivery:
* Delivery creation process
* Process Green Light Orders
* Routes
* Urgent Shipment Process
* Advanced Shipping Notifications
* Resolve any issues with Red Light Orders
Communication:
* Participates as a stakeholder in the Tier 2 meetings and S&OP meetings with Demand Fulfilment, Alliance and Alloga meetings
* Ensuring efficient and effective communication to internal and external customers and process stakeholders
* Closely work with Quality department to ensure full compliance with GDP as well as corporate quality standards
Reporting:
Generates and distributes to key stakeholder a weekly report on low stock and out of stock SKU’s
Sales projections / Order Reporting / Stock Exception report
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
Supply Chain Management experience, preferably from a pharmaceutical background
Strong customer focused mentality

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Good knowledge in the MS Office 365 suite of programs. Mainly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
