Job Description
This nuclear based HSE Advisor role reports to The Decommissioning Alliance Framework HSE Manager, the post holder will provide safety leadership, advice and assistance on all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) related issues in support of the TDA Framework Partners, Management Team and project workforce.
You will assist in establishing and maintaining TDAs Environmental management system, engaging with Project teams to ensure environmental issue are fully considered throughout project activities. You will support the Client Commissioning team and Construction team; the individual will integrate within the Client teams. You will provide support to B29 activities. You will support and make regular visits to off-site offices and project activities ensuring HS&E procedures are embedded.
This role requires the following skills:
• Security Clearance (SC)
• NEBOSH General and Construction certificate and Diploma or equivalent
• Ideally Chartered Membership of e.g. IOSH, IEMA or a related professional body or working towards.
• Relevant experience in engineering / construction environment
• Working capability using Microsoft Office and Internet based applications.
• Any other relevant experience or competence will be advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal skills
Technical expertise in Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and implementation.
