Site Supervisor

We are recruiting a Site Supervisor for a leading fire protection company to work at their UKAS Accredited Fire Test and Research Laboratory in Moreton in Marsh. This is a ‘high visibility jacket’ the successful candidate should be happy to work outdoors and occasionally work at height or in a confined space

Key Accountabilities

* Documentation of the cladding installation

* Supervision of contractors and workforce

* Actively maintain safety and quality standard

* Maintain a detailed record of construction site activities (Site Diary)

* Review and issue RAMS

* Monitor Safe Systems of Works

* Checking and correlating of materials

* Photographic records

* Ensure all control and communication documents are implemented for example permits/daily inspections, DAB’s

* Conducting the fire tests in accordance with the FPA health and safety policies and procedures.

* Processing of data

* Promptly identify problems and report immediately to the Line manager

Experience

* Experienced commercial or residential site supervisor

* Computer literate

* Practical skills (use of hand tools, wiring etc)

* Ability to deal with subcontractors and suppliers.

* Strong attention to detail, who can ensure policies and procedures are followed.

* Good management skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.

* Good understanding of CDM Regulations and HASAW

* Ability to read construction drawings

Qualifications

* SSSTS Certificate

* CSCS – Site Supervisors Gold Card

* 3 DAY First Aid Certificate

* CPCS/NPORS/RTITB or similar plant operators’ card for forklift or telehandler

* Ipaf Training
