We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at our highly regarded school in Islington. This long-term role involves providing one-to-one assistance to the child to help them thrive academically and socially. This role would start in September 2023 and run until July 2024.

Responsibilities:

Assist the child with ADHD in managing their attention and behaviour
Implement strategies to support their organization and time management skills
Collaborate with the class teacher to adapt the curriculum to meet the child's individual needs
Foster positive relationships and promote a sense of belonging within the classroom

Key Requirements:

Experience working with children with ADHD is desirable
Understanding of behaviour management techniques and differentiation strategies
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build rapport with students
