My client is recruiting for a Power Distribution Design Engineer to joint their growing power systems consultancy and design team. They focus on the design of electrical power projects from Low Voltage to 132kV.

Registered under the NERs scheme for the design of new electrical connections for demand and generation projects from LV to 132kV

They provide design services to a wide range of renewables, industrial, property and other development projects, requiring medium or high voltage electrical infrastructure.

In addition to design duties, the successful Design Engineers responsibilities will include the client interface, assisting with the preparation of bids and proposals and ensuring the delivery of the projects in accordance with the company's quality, safety and environment procedures.

The ideal candidate would have a recognised technical specialism in the power systems sector, particularly looking for skills in the design of distribution networks up to 132kV including primary design and secondary design.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Power Systems/Electrical Engineering
Experience of working in the UK and/or International electricity distribution sector
Experience of medium and high voltage projects including feasibility studies, concept design and detailed design
Experience of Design at voltages up to 132kV
