Maintenance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to manager a small on site team on a large and interesting estates in York. Managing a team of engineers, you role will be to ensure all PPM and reactive maintenance is completed across the site in like with KPI's and SLA's and that the client is happy with the service. You will also be in charge of completing 121's with the staff and ensuring their qualifications and training are complete and in line with industry regulations. Please note there is no vehicle with the role and you would need to get to the site in North York on a daily basis.

Duties of the role include:

Managing a team of 8 engineers - mechanical, electrical and fabric, including motivation and culture management, 121's and disciplinary or return to work meetings
Ensuring the team has the up-to-date qualifications to complete technically compliant works
Completing checks on the works of the team to ensure a high standard of work
Acting as a team technical expert so engineers can come to you with escalations for advice
Managing service level agreements on the contract, making sure ppm and reactive maintenance is done on time and within KPI's
Using the CAFM systems and running reports
Attending client meetings to discuss maintenance works and minor projects with the customer
The Applicant:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Good staff management experience with motivating teams and driving culture
Mechanical or electrical background with City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications
Experience managing PPM and reactive maintenance KPI's
Good team player who can manage relationships well
