Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and rigorous lessons in Economics to students at various levels, following the IB curriculum requirements and using a variety of instructional methods.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Foster a deep understanding of economic principles, theories, and real-world applications through effective teaching techniques, discussions, and hands-on activities.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations, examinations, and coursework, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies, curriculum enhancements, and cross-disciplinary projects.
Actively participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and school events, contributing to the overall success of the school community.Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status and relevant teaching experience in Economics (International Baccalaureate experience is a plus).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for economics, with the ability to inspire students and foster a love for the subject.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning, differentiated instruction, and the use of technology in the classroom.
