Involve Recruitment (Midlands ) Ltd are excited to be working alongside a Global Family run business who due to growth is recruiting for a Technical Helpline & Aftersales Support Manager
As part of the Project Support Centre Team, you will ensure that we provide a market leading Technical Helpline & Aftersales Support service to our customers for electrical installation system products within the Residential and Commercial Buildings markets.
Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire and motivate both the Technical Helpline and Aftersales Support team – currently a team of 3
* Ensure that colleagues feel informed and engaged to bring their best selves to the workplace and that the working environment is positive and enjoyable
* Create a climate of learning & development within your team
* Manage the aftersales support from a resource and cost allocation perspective
* Collaborate with colleagues across the company to ensure commonality and utilisation of technical customer demand procedures and processes
* Become a recognised technical expert supporting colleagues
Your profile
* Electrical Engineering with City & Guilds / HNC or other relevant Electrical experience
* Experienced in collaborating with multiple stakeholders
* Previous helpdesk management experience
* Passionate about leading and developing teams
* Customer driven
* A great team player
* Great communication skills
The team on average take about 130 calls per day so the role is to manage the team on a day to day basis as well as support on these calls – we are looking for a hands on Manager with an electrical background!
Salary: £40 to £50K
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
