LT94: Field Service Engineer (Mobile Cranes)

Location: Wescott / Bicester

Salary: £12 to £15 per hour DOE + OT

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a Field Service Engineer (Mobile Cranes) to join their team in Wescott / Bicester on a permanent basis.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience into heavy plant and the mobile crane industry.

As a Nationwide Company you may be required to assist at other depot locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To assist the Maintenance Manager and other Engineers with servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance of cranes to meet agreed service levels and standards in a timely manner.
Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults and issues.
Complete detailed reports on all work carried out.
Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure work is completed to the required standard and within agreed timescales.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:

A UK Driving Licence is required.
Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing faults with plant machinery and HGV's (crane experience not necessary but a good understanding of plant and HGV maintenance is required).
Ability to diagnose and carry out repairs on common errors/faults with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues on mobile cranes, as well as HGV's and light commercial vehicles.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
