About the role- Maths Teacher - Tower Hamlets

Assisting and supporting individual pupils based on their individual needs and encouraging them to conduct their own research as required.
It is important that you plan and deliver effective lessons which meet the National Curriculum and are suitable for all pupils between the ages of 11 and 16.
Making sure your students understand all your lessons, units, and projects as clearly as possible.
Keeping up to date with any changes or developments in the national teaching curriculum that may occur.
Work with your colleagues to coordinate lesson plans in which Maths lessons can be supplemented with lessons from other subjects.
In order to make your instructional materials and teaching methods suitable for the varying learning abilities of your students, you must be able to adapt your methods.
Making classrooms a place where students can work together to achieve their educational goals while working together as a group.

It would be ideal for the successful candidate for this permanent Maths Teacher role to teach Key Stages 3 and 4 as well as, ideally, Key Stage 5.
