The Production & Sales Engineer role is based at the Wirral facility and will report into the Engineering Manager based in Knaphill, Surrey.

The applicant for this role should be self-motivated and capable of working within the engineering, production and sales environment.

The duties and responsibilities for this role include:

• Support engineering team (based in Knaphill, Surrey) in achieving department objectives

Essential

• HND Qualification in Engineering

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering design and manufacture

• Competent in the use of 2D and 3D CAD software packages

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook

• Familiarity welding processes

• Understanding of Commercial and Technical processes

• Results driven

• Full UK Driving license

• Appreciation and respect for safety in the workplace and home

• Willingness to travel

• Support production team with NDE, assembly, pressure testing and function testing queries across all product lines

• Reviewing Non-Conformance Reports and working with QA/QC team

• Reviewing Vendor Manufacturing documentation

• Producing cutting and list and weld maps for in-house fabrications

• Design and produce manufacturing documentation for the delivery of Taper-Lok flanges

• Performing design calculations, FEA and producing engineering reports

• Support the sales department with the submission of technical and commercial proposals

• Interact with customers and potential customers to generate enquiries

• Providing pre-sales technical assistance with product selection and product education • Understanding competitive landscape

• Attending project and sales meetings

• Adhere to and support management in the improvement of Deepsea Technologies UK’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) systems and policies

• Work within the UK’s Quality Management System (QMS) and demonstrate a commitment to its improvement & effectiveness

• Promote and share UK’s vision, objectives and values.
