Dual Registered Children's Home Manager,
Accrington - NEW 2 x 2 bed EBD
Up to £55,000 per annum
Are you a competent children's home manager looking for a new challenge and a company that you can progress your career with?
The initial career opportunity with this established children's provider will give you experience of dual registration with Ofsted to open 2 small EBD children's homes, next door to each other.
As the Registered Children's Home Manager you will have full autonomy of your home, you will be integral to the smooth running of daily life within your home, enabling young people to thrive. You will inspire and lead your team to manage a warm and friendly home, that provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes whilst also achieving compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and ensuring your home is always able to evidence a high standard of care and quality. You will be responsible for the organisation of work patterns, facilitation of training, and the accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within your homes.
You will lead a team of colleagues and facilitate their professional development so that they not only provide high-quality care and support and are enabled to fulfil their own career potential too.
You will be supported by the Recruitment Manager in the recruitment of a compassionate and motivated team and help build a fantastic workplace culture where colleagues feel valued and rewarded for the work that they do. You will design, implement, and monitor the care and education plans to meet the individual needs of the children and young people, ensuring that key life and independent skills are achieved in the enriching and positive environment. You will be responsible for the organisation of work patterns, facilitation of training, and the accessing of appropriate services to support the child care practices within your homes.
