A delightful Primary School in South Birmingham, is seeking to appoint an experienced Class Teacher and KS2 Maths Lead:
Duties will include:
To closely work with our KS1 Maths Lead to lead, manage and develop the staff knowledge and pedagogy in mathematics, leading to a consistently high quality of teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in the phase.
Planning and preparing learning for pupils.
Teaching, according to their educational needs, the pupils assigned to her/him including the setting and providing feedback of work carried out by those pupils in school and elsewhere.
Providing a stimulating classroom environment which encourages pupils to become independent learners.
Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress and attainment achieved by those pupils.
Communicating and consulting, in accordance with current guidelines and circulars, with the parents of the pupils she/he is assigned to teach.

About the role:
- Desirable candidate will have a good track record with improving child development in numeracy
- You will be working in Key Stage 2
- Doing numeracy intervention with Key Stage 2 - 5 days a week
- Must be willing to work Monday- Friday
- Ideally a driver due to poor public transport
- You will be trained on White Rose, Mathletics for maths intervention

- You must have a minimum of 2 references over the past two years
- You will be trained in level 1 Safeguarding
- You must be willing to attend an interview
- You must have an up to date CV
- If an overseas candidate one must have a overseas police check/ Letter of Professional Standing
- Must have or be willing to obtain a DBS on the Update Service
- Must have QTS with teacher ref number
- Should be able to provide proof of Address and National Insurance
