Overview
Shorterm is looking to employ a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic CNC Machinist Assessor; this is an temporary opportunity, which may lead to ongoing work for the right candidate.

We are looking for a committed and dedicated person with experience of working in the Engineering Industry to deliver a CNC course to a small number of learners, covering all aspects of CNC programming and milling / turning within the confines of a private technical college.

The successful applicant will be required to prepare, deliver and assess various aspects of Mechanical Engineering programmes for apprentices and part-time learners studying on a CNC Machinist pathway.

The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant teaching qualification, or be working towards one (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed, TAQA), together with a minimum level 3 qualification in a Mechanical or Engineering subject area.

You should have recent experience of the Mechanical Engineering industry, with experience of Milling, Turning and CNC also experience with CAD software. If you have an assessor and/or verifier award this would be considered advantageous.
