Job title: Construction Section Manager

Location: Cumbria
Applicants must have experience of the following:
-Ideally SC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain security clearance
-Degree level in Civil engineering or a relevant field
-Construction experience of project management
-Strong focus om civil engineering projects
-Working with various stakeholders
-Proficient in project management software, tools
-Nuclear industry experience
-Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
-Solid understanding of construction methodologies, codes, regulations, and industry best practices
Ideally applicants should also have:

Role information:
* Lead and manage construction activities within the assigned section, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and budget.
* Supervise and provide guidance to a team of engineers, foremen, and construction workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure smooth execution of construction projects.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
* Coordinate with other sections and departments to ensure effective resource allocation and seamless project coordination.
* Review and approve technical designs, construction plans, and material specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve construction-related challenges and ensure project objectives are met.
