Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Reading

Hours: Monday to Friday; 8am - 5pm

A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading M&E service provider has come up, they are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to come and work on one of their long standing contracts based in reading and surrounding areas. The sites are a mixture of retail stores and commercial offices.

This role is offering a salary up to £36,500 + Package/Overtime. Company Vehicle and fuel Card with personal use.

Job Role:
You will be required to work Monday – Friday with overtime opportunities available.

Carry out routines unsupervised (PPM and reactive), diagnose and repair faults on electrical and partly mechanical building services (L8, AHU maintenance, fire alarms, lighting testing, lighting repairs, pumps, motors, heating system fault finding and awareness (Heat exchangers, actuators, pipe work)

Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to;

* Fault finding

* PPM’s

* FCU’s

* Generators

* 3 Phase power supply

* UPS’s

* AHU’s

The successful candidate must have:

* The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications –City & Guilds electrical level 3 installation or equivalent

* With at least 5 years experience in Electrical services in the building services trade

* 17th/18th edition preferably

* Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
