Remuneration: £40,000-£50,000 + £10,000-£30,000 Bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed company car & benefits
The role of the Sales Manager – Lighting Products will involve:
* Field sales position selling a distributed range of LED and Induction lighting focused on reducing energy consumption as well as reducing lighting costs and cutting carbon emissions
* Targeting primarily industrial and commercial end users
* Typically selling into MD & FD of SME’s and Facilities managers, Operations Managers, Health & Safety managers and Engagement Compliance Managers of larger businesses
* Predominantly a new business development role
* Conducting initial consultations followed up by a complete lighting proposals, cost surveys, R.O.I information for customers etc.
* Average order values £35,000, but can range from £10,000 to £500,000
* Supported by an internal sales team of 10 who will set your appointments for you, allowing you the time to focus on converting their leads
* Typically Monday’s working from centrally located office, other four days on the road visiting customers
* 4-6 appointments per week (national remit)
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager – Lighting Products with:
* Sales experience within electrical or lighting
* Field sales background preferred
* Open to electrical wholesale experience looking for progression into field sales role
* A “just gets it” mentality
* Product knowledge can be taught, however any knowledge of LED or Induction lighting may be advantageous
* Highly organised and capable
* Comfortable with long periods in the car/ lots of driving
