What I am looking for?
Naturally we are looking for an experienced (5 years) IT Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects (Ideally Data architecture), supporting the sales cycle, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
As an IT Project Manager you will also be involved with pre and post sales support, you will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, oversee project delivery, and provide ongoing support.
What about technology? - Naturally the role does not include the need for actual hands on technical skills, but if you have an understanding of data related architecture or projects in the past, then this will give you a significant advantage.
So projects involving GCP, PowerBI or Snowflake will be highly advantageous and any exposure to SAP and functional knowledge of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and control
Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders based across different locations? (Project Size - £500k-£2m)
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against them
Coordinate project teams, including internal and external resources, to ensure successful project outcomes
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and identify new business opportunities
Ensure project compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide pre-sales support, including proposal development and presentations
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations to clients.Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide recommendations for resolution
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management and sales support
Managed projects over 0,5M with multi-location resources and stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project teams, and senior management.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands.
Functional knowledge of HR are and technical expertise in data/analytics including GCP, Power BI or Snowflake would be very interesting.
Experience with SAP solutions and technologies preferred
