We are seeking a Deputy Manager for our clients Residential Children's home in Bournemouth.

This opportunity has become available due to growth within the company, the role is to work alongside the registered manager to create a caring and supportive environment for young people in care and ensure their welfare and learning development.

You’ll be working with children from the ages of 10-18yrs and will need to have previous experience within the industry and a good understanding of the needs of young people, child development and Ofsted regulations. You will need to devise and implement young people’s placement plans and provide quality care and take a leading role in promoting safeguarding for the home.

The ideal Deputy manager for the company would need to have previous experience in a similar role or be a strong team leader looking for the next steps in their career. Working alongside the young people you would need to have a positive approach, good communication and conflict management skills. You would be required to hold a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle and willingness to drive the company car. Qualifications essential for this role would be an NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care with Young People and NVQ 4 Management in Care.
