Working alongside the other Buyer in the team this role is ideal for someone from a buying background or who has the transferable skill set to complete the duties of the role. A team player who is willing to be very hands on in all aspects of the business. This is not your usual buying role so for the right person this is a great opportunity to learn, apply your current skill set and become part of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Under guidance from the Buyer, to gather, analyse and interpret requirements/ company sales by item and product ref/ size/ colour versus stock holding over certain periods to establish requirements
• To help Buyer with forward order quantities/planning
• To top-up order quantities through-out the year based on sales v stock holding sell-throughs (stock replenishment)
• With Buyer, review price points by item or as company as a whole taking into account company spend, year on year growth, potential etc. (Liaising with Accounts for data)
• To schedule buying meetings on a monthly basis with Director, Buyer, Store Manager to ensure all are briefed on requirements
• To set up new products in Cybertill - price, VAT, size ranges, min/max for store and warehouse
• To maintain established supplier relationships

You will need

Great communication skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel
Great attention to detail
