Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in the storage tank industry? Quest Employment is currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our client's team as Production Operatives to work on a permanent basis. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of their high-quality storage tanks.
Our client is a renowned manufacturer and supplier of innovative storage solutions, specializing in the production of tanks for various applications including fuel, water, chemicals, and waste. With over 30 years of industry experience, they pride on delivering superior products and outstanding customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
* The main duty of this role is the fitting of pipes, parts, and other equipment to storage tanks.
* Maintain stock levels through checking stock and raw materials against anticipated demand, and notifying relevant supervisors of any issues.
* Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
* Ensure regular communication with colleagues and supervisors, to assist in the smooth continuance of production output.
* The use of power, air and hand tools will be required for some duties throughout production. There is some aspects of working at heights within this role.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is essential
* Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools.
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
* A focus on safety and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
* Show initiative and be self-motivated
* FLT license is preferred but not essential.

Shifts and pay:
* Monday to Friday
* Rotating weekly 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am
* £12/h + incentives for the afternoon shift + night shift
