Commercial / Estimating Manager, Flexo printed Labels & Packaging - Northants
Impressively diverse Flexo printed Labelling / Films & Litho printed Carton Packaging Solutions business, seek an experienced and commercially astute Estimating Manager to further strengthen their Client Services team, as they continue to invest & expand.
Based from their Northants HQ, it represents a fabulous opportunity to join a skilled, committed & Client centric team, bringing your market experience & acquired commercial intelligence, in taking responsibility for preparing/delivering all new Client project propositions.
It is imperative that you have a comprehensive background of Flexo or/and Label Printing experience, fulfilling a role that demands you will be results oriented and skilled in balancing commercial returns through judicious pricing, operational efficiency, material optimisation and good cost control, whilst also demonstrating extensive experience of working closely with planning, production, procurement, sales & account management functions in line with strategic business objectives, in order to deliver exceptional customer service and profitability targets.
Main duties will include:
* Full responsibility for all Estimating and Commercial analysis functions.
* Liaise with Production Director to ensure customer products are delivered on time and within budget
* Prepare pricing estimates in conjunction with set Company parameters
* Review and improve existing methods of commercial operation.
* Working with the Company’s print MIS, supporting the implementation of effective changes as necessary
* Communicate clearly across all areas of the business regarding commercial profitability and production capacity.
* Support the drive for continuous improvement across all teams to deliver year on year improvements in productivity and profitability.
